The ancient city of Ratnapura, whose very name translates as “City of Gems” in Sinhalese, remains the heart of this extraordinary heritage.

HRK Gems was founded with a singular mission: to bring the finest ethically sourced gemstones — from Sri Lanka’s alluvial fields to East Africa’s volcanic corridors — to collectors, jewellers, and gem enthusiasts worldwide.

Every specimen we present undergoes independent laboratory certification from the world’s most trusted institutions: GIA, GRS, Gübelin, and SSEF. We disclose all treatments and provide full provenance documentation as standard — not as an option.
